Wetlands El Campanario

The residential and golf resort “El Campanario” is located on a large plateau at the east side of Querétaro city and has over 20 years of existence. During this time, a significant reserved area of wetlands had been left useless. This project tries to rescue the landscape potential and value of these areas and turn them into a new entertainment and rest areas for all its residents. We use geo-membranes to create four large shallow lakes that are staggered on the ground and delimited by retaining stone walls. New rest areas are planned with docks over the lakes, as well as a new perimeter bicycle and walkway path.
