Location: Avándaro, Estado de México.

Architectural design and overall coordination for a new residential development within the historic Hacienda Piedras Duras, east of Avándaro in Valle de Bravo, Mexico. The project offers three house prototypes with three, four or five bedrooms, arranged over one or two floors. Local materials, including stone walls and timber roofs, are paired with insulated walls for thermal comfort. Each house features a large terrace with views of the Nevado de Toluca volcano and ecological systems designed to minimize its environmental footprint.
