Residential Santa Rosa Sanctuary

Urban and Landscape design.

Location: León, México

Year: 2010

The design for the master plan of this residential suburban development of 60 hectares located to the south of León had a first proposal which propose a main “green belt” creating an organic circuit from which you can access to each of the internal housing clusters. The final master plan leaves a reserve area and develops only two third parts of the area. One new “green heart” is located at the center with an artificial lake and the club house. All the housing clusters have a green community area, there is also a commercial strip at the north and the donation area for the municipality is located at the northwest end. The main access to the complex is done by a gate which tries to create visual impact and lightness with a few elements and apparent materials of low maintenance.
