The aim of the project is to print an identification feature of the most valuable historic buildings of the city and create new attractions for residents and visitors, that eventually leads to a greater retention of tourism. Among the selected buildings stands out the City Hall, the Culture House Diego Rivera, the ex-former prison, the Manuel Doblado Theatre, the Monas Gallery and the Calzada Arch as elements of civil architecture. Between the religious architecture the Cathedral Basilica of Leon, the Parish of the Sacred one, the Temple of the Immaculate, the Guadalupe's Sanctuary, the Peace Temple and the Expiatory Temple were selected. The accomplishment of this project has increased awareness of the built heritage between the population and visitors, helping to promote the identity and appreciation among the population.
