Architectural design for a new justice center in the city of Hermosillo, Sonora. The center has five main buildings: Courthouse, Detainee building, Legal counsel, Cautionary building and Evidence warehouse. With the support of the specialist Arq. Diego Balderas and the collaboration of Arq. Juan Bonilla, we accomplished a compact, functional and efficient building which also attend the several safety, energetic and environmental regulations. The core of the complex is a main waiting and distribution hall which also has the cafeteria and a daycare center. The center always looks for solar control elements because of the high temperatures of this city. The main facade is inspired in the great courthouses of the past which use the colonnade. The rest of the facades have metallic louvers for solar control and visual unity.
