The interior design project was won by competition on November 2013. The proposal aimed to reorder all the interior areas of the State Congress as well as the integration of the Supreme Audit Office into the program of the building, which was already being built. The building seeks for functionality and transparency in order to create a pleasing atmosphere for daily work for about 600 people. The outdoor design was entirely preserved as the original project was, made by Arch. Teodoro González de León. Further energy efficient solutions were taken into account in the enclosure.
