The city of Leon has been example of the importance to attend the large number of existing cyclists.The state government through the State Transport Direction realized an invitation contest to design four master plans in medium and small cities of the state which have a large number of cycle users.Mobility studies and section roadway studies were done with the aim to design the final cycle path networks, their construction stages and the support infrastructure needed.Inter-cities cycle paths were also proposed with rest and maintenance areas and cycle parking spaces close to the urban transport system of each city.
